After going through this journey -- we are so grateful for all of the designers efforts. You are all so talented!!! Thank you all for allowing us to visualize the ideas we had in our head.
I think we are CLOSE to what we want -- We have decided to REMOVE the Business Networking / Communication element and aspect of the logo. After asking for both the Pear and Business Networking / Communication combined into the logo, we agonized over the various logos we were receiving and just were besides ourselves. We had our hearts set on having our logo convey both messages: Pear and Business Networking/Communication. BUT we started noticing that when you do both, it looks REALLY CRAZY -- you lose the SIMPLICITY and CLEAN ELEGANCE!!!
But we didn't know all this when we first started this contest. We had to go through this journey to learn this lesson and get a better idea, ya know? Unfortunately, all part of the process. Truly sorry and we SUPER appreciate your hard work. Now, that we have learned this hard lesson. We are EXCITED to see what amazing work you produce now that we have finalized what we really want!!! :) We are SOOOO impressed with how clever and creative you all are!!!
Man, how do you guys come up with this stuff? It's amazing!!! So creative and genius!!!
Anyhow, we have BETTER requirements for you now!!!! :)
1) Logo Type: Combination Mark containing a Wordmark (Text) and a Pictorial Mark (Icon)
2) Icon: Pear (color should be avocado green with brown stem and green leaf)
3) Font: a simple Serif font (please no Times New Roman), San Serif is ok but not ideal; font colors should be an avocado green and a grayish brown or a brownish gray; not a fan of robotic or techy fonts -- we're a fun bunch but we also plan to go to meetings with Fortune 500 companies and the US government.
We have 20+ years in GovTech and working with the US Government, and we're pretty confident that we'll make it -- so your logo has the potential of hitting a big market. Cool, right? :) Right now, our demographic is new businesses that register with Sam.gov.
